I have a good selection of printed fabric pieces with a creamy, yellowy, floral feel to them. So I thought I ought to turn them in to some cushions!! Well.why not? !!
So, I put all the fabric together, and then chose a few favourite ones to use. I cut these in to strips with 4 for each cushion's front panel. I have decided to make 4 cushions, that are all similar. They just have each piece of fabric in a slightly different position.
The next thing was to add some lace to break up the sections, and add that vintage feel. I used 3 different types of lace on each cushion.
I then put these on a deep cream coloured fabric back. I decided that a buttoned fastening would suit the style best.
Thats it, a fairly easy to make set of cushions.
